With Christmas just around the corner and the cold winds slowly starting to breeze in, another wardrobe revamp is in order. The hottest fad for this chilly season is without a doubt the scarves that can be seen wrapped around the neck of every other teen-ager walking the street or the pashmina gracefully draped on the shoulders of women; all of this as early as the not-so-chilly month of October.

This season also brings the perfect excuse to put on the stylish long coat tucked away in the closet. Leather jackets, safari jackets, police jackets… all sorts of jackets deemed too heavy for mere rain could be seen gracing the streets once again. The casual look for men welcomes wool cardigan sweaters coupled with denim pants and a leather jacket. The formal look still leads to classic blazers or flawlessly suits topped with heavy coats.

The women can now put on their sexy turtlenecks, match them with their favorite long coats and pants without any reservations. Another popular fashion pick for both men and women is putting on layers of matched clothes. Youngsters have a preference for hoodies and hi-cut sneakers. Because of the frigid atmosphere, calf-length leather boots have once again found their way into the daily apparel of commuters.
